In class sheet- Where are you now?

Goals- your goals should be SMART

Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-Oriented

Goals for this summer:
1. Finish/Practice College Essays (Common app)
2. Understand how a non-profit works (internship at PaperSeed Foundation)

Habits- a habit is something you almost don't even think about, you just do it; it can sometimes be an addiction.

Habits for this summer:
1. Be on time everywhere
2. Be more empathetic/sympathetic to others

Habits to break:
1. Procrastination

Allies- an ally is someone that you can lean on/depend on to get help from; someone you can acquire advice from and that you can trust. Making allies requires being kind and helping out.

Allies for this summer:
1. Make allies at an internship (such as Aliyya Shelley Mattos)
2. Parents are your allies

  1. I definitely agree with you on the procrastination habit. Although I have good grades, I find myself constantly avoiding certain things to do, it is really important to be efficient with anything and everything that I need to do. My parents are also my allies! I feel very lucky to have two loving parents that are willing to be my chauffeur, tutor and friend. Great job on your blogging!!

  2. You have really good goals for the summer. I am also trying to do a "first" draft for my college essay. I hadn't thought about procrastination as a habit, but it is definitely one of my weaknesses as well. My family is also my ally. Have you thought about any teachers that might be an ally, especially to help with your college essay? Good blog!
