Over the course of the summer, there are numerous things that I am grateful for, including the opportunity to complete a summer internship. I am also grateful to be receiving my work readiness certificate soon, and to have gained a great deal of experience for my future. I learned that working with kids as a career is very demanding and requires you to be patient, caring, and dedicated. throughout my internship, I also learned that maybe working with kids is not the best choice for me. From the summer career academy, I learned how to plan most parts of my future, and how to put work readiness skills to use in my everyday life.

  1. I congratulate you on your patience and development over the last 5 weeks. Children can be difficult and I can relate to feeling grateful for a summer internship.

  3. It's great that you learned so much about yourself and your career choice from the internship. I think that is the best possible thing to have gotten out of it. Did you learn anything else about yourself through the activities on Waybook, or through creating a resume or Linked-In profile?
