Week 4

  • The Total of my future expenses each year are $56,265. I know this is logical because my primary sources for information are http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/(undisclosed-Address)-San-Rafael-CA-94903/2109660191_zpid/
  • According to http://work.chron.com/much-cake-baker-make-per-year-14449.html  I can likely count on making $23,250 each year in my future job as a baker. My education/training to get that job will cost $14,977 total for all years of training.
  • I want to save $4,000 for my rainy day fund each year, and $5,000 for retirement each year. If I save 5,000 for retirement each year, by the time I am 65 years old I will have $170,000 plus interest.
Comparing my future income and expenses makes me think It isn't easy being an adult and I need to start making a financial plan soon.

  1. I totally agree, making this financial plan kind of freaked me out for the future, but also helped me figure out how to prepare and set myself up for success! Keep up the great work!
