Week 5: Grateful

I am grateful for Ms. Horton because she helped me make the internship possible, my supervisors at Cake Art Supplies (Katie & Maria), Professor Duran & Mr. Morales for the educational classes, my family, friends, and life it's self. The experiences I am grateful for this summer are the internship at Cake Art Supplies, the classes at the Summer Career Academy, and getting accepted to 10,000 Degrees. I am lucky to have had to learn about financial planning because it made me realize that being an adult isn't easy and money can be wasted in such a short period of time. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to intern at Cake Art Supplies because it showed me how it would be if I had a job and that you can get very creative when decorating. Also, I loved working with the kids and eating some of the edible creations!
